What makes Miami Tours so much Fun

Music and dance are an integral part of the Miami culture. With so much Cuban, Haitian, and Creole heritage

and so much Latin American influence, it’s no wonder the nightlife of Miami is always so peppy and full of fun

and excitement.

The city also hosts so many festivals where music dance and food are the special attractions. The Goombay

festival at Coconut Grove features Bahamian Junkanoo Music and the Calle Ocha festival is a riot of Cuban

lifestyle. This is one city where you can learn to salsa and if you already know how, there ae many places

where you can dance the night away swinging to the catch Brazilian music that plays all night at so many

dance schools, clubs and party places.

Here are a couple of the popular sightseeing hotspots where you can dance the Salsa. Some of these places

are truly sizzling dance clubs.

Ball & Chain

Remember the 1950s, when Chet Baker and Billie Halliday were famous for their fancy footwork? The Ball and

Chain bar was one of their favorite dancing spots and its now revived and swinging with energy again. This si a

very popular dance bar in Little Havana. Salsa, Live Jazz, and Latino music are the highlights here.

Besides the music you’ll also get to taste creation by the Chef Julio Caberra.

Hoy Como Ayer

Also located in Little Havana, this is the perfect place for Cuban music, dance and cuisine. This is home to

Cuban music starts like Celia Cruz and Benny More. You’ll love their Thursday night Fuacata parties with a lot

of funky Latin music. If you watched the Hollywood movie “Chef” you’ll recognize one of the scenes which

was filmed here.

CubaOcho

This place has mixed identities. It’s an art gallery with antique furniture. Some of the pieces were owned by

Frank Sinatra. It’s also a rum bar (some say it’s Maimi’s most extensive Bar), with live music – a place where

the locals meet, sip rum and smoke cigars. On the weekends, they play jazz and Latin music and the floor

sizzles with sexy salsa dancers.

Salsa Mia

They will teach you to swing your hips to real Salsa at this dance club and school. On Fridays professional salsa

dances take over the floor from 11pm onwards. If you can’t dance and just want to watch, grab a Mojito and a

chair and feast your eyes.

Enjoy some of the best Jazz music performances

Some people call it America’s most beloved art form. When you swing to the music you’ll know why Jazz is so

cool. There are some really cool Jazz music bars in Miami where you can enjoy the best of this kind of music.

There’s the Betsy Hotel on South Beach where you can enjoy a wide range of Jazz - from classic jazz to the

famous Bossa Nova. Be there Wednesdays and Thursdays 8-11pm.

Another popular Jazz place on South beach is Jazaid. They play Jazz here every night. But you also get funk,

rock, cumbia and reggae.

Go down to key Biscayne and visit the Ritz Carlton for some their southern Jazz Brunch. Think of it as Jazz

with great culinary delights.
