We LOVE Lion Country Safari!! Entertaining and Educational!

This was our 2nd visit to the park and who'd have known that we would have had an ever better time than our first visit! We were a 6 people in a mini-van: 2 adults, 2 18 year olds, and 2 pre-schoolers.

The weather was very cold that day, but it didn't matter at all being in the van, driving through the animals habitats. As always the animals were fun to watch. We were even treated to a phenomenal 10 minute mating ritual; which we called the "KISS ME" dance, by an ostrich. Of course, we wouldn't miss the opportunity to hand feed the giraffe which is always a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

After the driving is done, there is walk through area which includes a pretty decent cafeteria, souvenir shop, lots of rides and education shows.

We spent the day talking about and comparing the different sizes and shapes of the animals antlers, and 2 months later, the toddlers are still talking about it. Not only would I recommend a visit to Lion Country Safari, I would urge you to go!
